		<description>i doubt it. they usually survive in temps above 60 or so. if i were you, i would just buy some lucky &quot;bamboo&quot; (not really bamboo) and keep it in the house. the shafts won&#039;t grow anymore where they were cut. but if you let the leaves on them keep growing, eventually, those offsprings will turn into shafts also.</description>

		<description>Will bamboo plants will grow in a climate like we have in Eastern Canada? Its pretty warm in the summer but it begin to drop around October. Will the plant will survive winter?? personally I dont think so.. hehe... and Hemm how much can it grow in only a summer?</description>
