Ordered two of these – green and white. Received both in a timely manner, the white had the rosette sprinkler piece, the green did not. The white watering can was for our neighbor. I e-mailed Amazon.com to replace or get the part for the green watering can. Received another green watering can – AGAIN no rosette sprinkler piece. Contacted Amazon.com again, they said they cannot control the products. I said let’s try another color. Still no response. It’s been a month. Guess we’ll have to borrow my neighbors water can! First time I’ve been disappointed with Amazon.com.

I bought this as a gift because it was OXO, and my sister in law has everything in her kitchen and outside OXO. To me it was just a watering can, but she really liked it.

The last thing I would think I could get excited about is a watering can. This one is excellent though. Top notch build and the right size.

Having been in the garden products business for many years, I am aware that many watering cans are not well designed. You wouldn’t think it difficult to design one that is well balanced, and doesn’t dribble, would you? Well, in my business, we rejected many designs over the years.
I decided to take my chances with OXO, and I’m happy with my decision. I would say, though, that I would have found the 3 gallon one too heavy to handle when filled. This one is just right. I also like that the rosette comes off easily; the space-saving spout design is another plus.

In my “little world”, function and space are always a consideration. This watering can fits the bill. The spout turns inward over the handle to compact this for easy storage and it holds enough water to eliminate the need for constant refilling. Another “no brainer” by OXO. I love their products!
