This ridiculous expenses ’system’ has been in place for decades and was going on throughout the Conservatives 18 YEARS in power. The only reason it’s coming out now is that Labour brought in laws which made the information public. If it wasn’t for them, it would still be going on!

Don’t think the Conservatives will be any different; these expenses claims have been going on for years: The MPs are a class group, and when it comes to their own self-interests they are strictly non-partisan.

£12k is more than some people take home a year
ones having to payback expenses are the ones that can’t afford it. The ones who dont claim have a massive salary and don’t have too.
Browns basic is a min of £250,000 a year + home and his clothes (£5,000 suits) paid for
PM and an MP posts should be an honor and the pay should be low for that privalege. They should be low paid and thankful they work for us
